A Day in New York

2014 January 29
by elizabeth_admin

In 6 days, I will be back in my beloved town, New York City.  Ahhh, I can almost smell the subway now.  I am visiting family and friends, but I couldn’t not visit the Garment District now, right?

My plan is simple…

Saturday, Feb 8th (exact timing TBD but probably starting around 10am)

Fabric Shopping (is there any other kind?)

Lunch (somewhere nearby)

FIT Museum for the Trendology Exhibit

New-York-Garment-District[1]

Now who’s in?

Well you know I’m in but I’m gonna need the schedule because I’ll probably be there between 11 and noon.

I should be available and will supply the requisite Y chromosome.

I’m in! Will it be a boozy lunch? I can’t remember the last time I had one of those.

I so wish I could come up this Saturday.
I fell and hurt my knee 6 weeks ago and I still can’t get around very well.
Sigh. Finally caving in and making a doctors appointment.
