Almost ready!

2012 July 18
by elizabeth_admin

Yep, it’s true and I’m so excited.  My sewing room is almost ready to be a functional sweatshop.  I might even start tonight!  I have been jonesing to sew for weeks now.  My fingers are itching.  My creative urges are flowing.

First up, are my nieces’ birthday dresses in coordinating fabric.  I hope I bought enough yardage to use some of the other’s fabric for trim on the other fabric.  Hope that incredibly bad English made sense to you all.  I’m too excited to think about it right now.

Here’s a picture of my sewing room in the process of unpacking.

I just need to clean up the work table a bit and I’m good to go.  Can you hear that?  That’s my machines warming up.  And they look pretty good for their cross-country journey.  The proof is in the pudding though; we’ll see tonight for sure.  That is if I’m not too distracted by the sunset…

Happy sewing!

Congratulations on your move! I grew up in San Diego and it’s the best!! If you’re ever in San Francisco, give me a holler.

Ah what a wonder to behold – the sewing machines on the sewing table! Now as Nemo the sewing fish says, Just keep sewing, Just keep sewing!

I’m so envious of your sewing room Elizabeth, and if that’s the view from that window at sunset I’m even more so! Have fun at the foot pedal!
