Anyone in Madison?

Jack and I are headed to Madison tomorrow to celebrate Christmas with my brother and his family.  My parents are meeting us there and my sister and her family will show up after Christmas.  I love spending time with my family.

LOVE. IT.

We all get along, my parents are super cool.   We all love to cook, eat and drink.  It’s all very convivial.  I can’t wait!

But I will have time to check out fabric stores or meet up with sewists if any live in Madison.  Anyone have any suggestions on fabric stores to check out?  Or does anyone care to meet up over the holiday week?  It would be such a blast to meet some more like-minded people.

If you’re interested or have any store suggestions, please leave me a comment.

Happy Sewing and Happy Holidays everyone!

I live in Madison, but will be going home to my family in Illinois until New Year’s, unfortunately. My fabric store recommendation, though, is Gayfeather Fabrics on Willy St. Best place to find the independent pattern companies, and they always have beautiful fabrics. Just google them for their hours; definitely worth a look. Have fun in Madtown!

I live in Madison, but will be gone to Indy for holidays–new grandson! Check out Gayfeather on Williamson Street for unique fabric. Pricey, but some really beautiful finds. Oh, and don’t leave town without stopping at Graze restaurant on the Square. Not only great food, but the best view in Madison!
