Hurricane + NYC = No Shopping Day

Sorry folks, but I am canceling Saturday’s Shopping Day due to the impending hurricane. Robin is no longer coming in. The Philly people are backing out and even the NJ people are saying no. I will get back to you with a new date soon.
Everyone on the East Coast, please stay safe!

Here in Puerto Rico we are still getting over the consequences of the hurricane. I hope everyone is safe and prepared when it hits the East Coast. Stay safe and take care of you and you family. Have a nice day.
oh man, stay dry!! I’m somewhat freaking bc Dan is going to be taking his ship out in this. I mean, I know this is what they do, but still. I hope you & Jack stay safe!! Let’s hope the subway & PATH don’t really get shut down.
Good plan. I hope it’ll be less destructive than anticipated.
But looking on the bright side, maybe I can make the new date! My vacation is delayed as well, of course. I hope we can get to the shore on Monday.
Wendy I know what you mean. My brother is in the Coast Guard & lives in NC. Natch he will be in the thick of it. You are right – that is what they do, but it still makes me nervous.
Well, maybe I can make it to the re-scheduled shopping day.

Even though I live in NYC, I probably wouldn’t have been able to come as the MTA closes at noon tomorrow. Thank you for cancelling. I will keep my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to come to the make up day. I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to meeting fellow sewists. As you can imagine I NEED more fabric
