I have my machines back in my loving arms!!!!!

But I don’t have the time to use them.  Summer is here.  Happy Solstice!  But that also means the little boy who lives with me is out of school.  I am really missing his nanny right about now.  I set him up with some camps, but there’s still about, oh, 6 weeks of summer where it’s just me and him.  I won’t have a lot of time to sew.  And just when I get my machines back too.  Harumpf!

I have two hours to “whip up” something.  Here’s to hoping that I can do that!

In parting, I leave you with a picture of my Kindergarten graduate.

Can you tell he didn’t want his picture taken?

Happy summer sewing!

I love those pics when the kids aren’t into picture taking at all! LOL He’s still adorable even when he’s sad.

They grow up so fast. I am rather attached to our friends kids and it feels like yesterday they were babies in my arms and now they are 8 and 9 an 3. Every visit they look different. Pick some small projects so you can do a little bit here and ther and feel some accomplishment while enjoying the time with your graduate.

Congratulations to your little guy! The time will pass quickly and you’ll be back to sewing in no time!

Sewing date with friends? Share babysitting? Or, just wait until Sept. 🙂
