Ok, some of you on the blog or on Facebook have asked me when I’m coming to LA and if we can meet up.  Well, twist my arm!  Of course we can meet up!  I will be in LA on Monday, April 23rd for the day only.  I will arrive late morning and will be ready to shop.

Who’s in?

I will have more details once I buy my train tickets.  I am taking suggestions on lunch places nearby and must visit stores.

I hope I can meet you!  Let me know in the comments.

ETA: I put the wrong date originally.  Correct date is listed above now.  Thanks!

Argh! Monday is the one day I am super busy this week and I can’t make it! I bet you will have fun though! Make sure you try to hit the Loft – across the street from Michael Levine’s – a lot of CHEAP fabric and you can find some good stuff (I tend to find lots of knit prints and fabrics for lining when I have been there) though you are going to have to dig.

Ooh, I might be able to do that! I have a class to teach in the late afternoon, but maybe I could sneak away for some noontime consumption of food and fabric. In the meantime, here is a guide to eating and shopping in the LA Downtown Fashion District put together by ASGLA.

Oh, no! I have to stay home to wait for a plumber on Monday.

Sigh, perhaps we can meet up later for dinner? I live in Redondo Beach and can take you to a place where I buy factory leftovers by the pound.
