It’s that time of year again!
You know it. It’s time for teacher’s gifts. This week has been full of life activities:
- My parents are in town
- The little boy who lives with me had a birthday with two parties (one on the weekend and one at school for which muffins were made)
- And the little boy who lives with me had a “graduation” from pre-school (for which a from scratch lasagna was made)
- I am deep in the throes of the Big Move preparation with appointments with moving companies, scheduling dr appts, making lists of things to do, etc.
I have been quite overwhelmed with stuff to do as you can see. The last day of school is today so it was absolutely the last day to give teacher’s gifts to Jack’s two pre-school teachers. Since I was short on time and energy, I went with my TNT gift, wine with wine bag. I used Trena’s tutorial again. Last year I made my own self fabric ties. This year, I went with ribbon since I had some matching stash on hand. Since these are different teachers from last year, this is the first time they are receiving wine from me. 😉 I again gifted my fave white wine, Riverstone from Stave 28. I love these wines. If you can, do yourself a favor and try my friend Michael’s wine. It is to die for. Really!
And here are the pretty little gifts…
And just because I can’t resist, here’s a picture of me and the little boy on graduation day that my sister the photographer took. Isn’t he the cutest???
PS: Because I sewed up those wine bags last night, I can feel my mojo returning. I might have a dress for you to take a gander at this weekend. Fingers crossed!!!
