On the cutting table

While I wait for some info from sister so that I can then start on Thor’s (already late) birthday present, I started a new project.

I have the infamous Butterick 5454 wrap dress on my cutting table.  I have an event this Saturday (if I find a babysitter that is) for which this dress will be perfect.  And I just bought a knit from Kashi at Metro Textiles on my recent NYC trip that I had earmarked for this pattern.

I love a TNT that’s ready to cut.  No fitting issues, just ready to cut and sew.  Love. It.  Can’t wait to sew it up and wear it.

Happy sewing everyone!

You are right Elizabeth, there is absolutely nothing like a good TNT pattern. Love your print and I’m sure it will be a great Saturday night dress.

Way to go – hope you find a baby sitter so you can go out and enjoy yourself. Looking forward to seeing the finished dress!

Very pretty fabric. Though I think I’m more jealous of that cutting table! Someday….
