Queen for a few days
Hi. Ummm… Yeah.
What’s new with you?
If you came here looking for my latest dress or for some kind of proof that I actually do sew, I’m afraid you’re in for a little disappointment.
I have been role playing for the last few days as the Queen of Procrastination. Kathy thinks she’s got the procrastination thang down, but I have one up on her. She procrastinates sewing with other sewing. I can’t believe she even calls that procrastination. I’ll tell you what true procrastination is: When you avoid sewing by doing your least favorite housework, like laundry. I would have truly won a prize if I had cleaned my bathroom, but I wasn’t that desperate.
If I manage to avoid the black hole that is cable tv tonight, I might start on the much-talked about silk twill dress. I should be able to because I finished the last glass of that bottle of wine last night. So no more temptation on that front. And all the laundry is done.
Now if I can ignore the siren call of the beautiful floral linen I bought last week that is dying to be made into another B5147 dress. Ahh… a match made in heaven if ever there was one. If I could marry fabric, I would marry this fabric. I really should get a picture of it so you all can drool over it and understand my deep abiding love for it.
I hope you have been productive in my stead! Happy sewing everyone.
