San Diego at last

2012 July 11
by elizabeth_admin

The little boy who lives with me and I arrived in San Diego late last night.  We are super tired and have lots to do, but I wanted wanted to stop in to say we made it and we love it here.  Here’s the view from our backyard.

Wow!  I am absolutely gobsmacked.

I hope to have some sewing to share with you soon.  If you want to know a secret, I bought some fabric from Michael Levine’s and shipped it here for my arrival.  Ooops!  My bad.  😉

I haven’t opened the box yet, but I will.  Just waiting for my machines to arrive on Friday.

Happy sewing everyone!

I’m glad you got there in one piece! About the fabric, I did the same thing when I moved back from London. I bought fabric from Michael’s and had it shipped to my neighbor’s house so it would be there waiting for me.

That view looks very similar to the view from my brother’s old house in Rancho Penasquitos area of San Diego….are you close to that area? If so, wow!! Good for you, great place to live. It is my favorite place to visit in the whole world. Glad you have made it to your new home.

Congratulations on your move – welcome to the beautiful West Coast! I’m in the greater LA area and if you ever are coming for a fabric shopping trip and would like a buddy, let me know. 🙂

Elizabeth, I’m glad to hear that you got here fine. And I’m glad to see that you have a lovely view and fine San Diego style water features! It actually looks a lot nicer than most of San Diego does! Good job!
